Riva Hub would prefer to charge nothing. Its fee — about $0.50 per hour, compared with $1.30 or more at commercial workspaces — balances affordable access with minimum operating costs. The fee covers only part of actual costs: it keeps the doors open, it does not generate profit. Without stable funding, making the service entirely free could force it to close and leave students without a reliable alternative.

Riva Hub is open to every student without distinction: secondary school and university students across disciplines, male and female students, students with disabilities, scholarship applicants, applicants to universities abroad, and job seekers. Separate, more private areas can be provided for male and female students when needed, especially for exams, interviews, and online meetings.

Riva Hub operates from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, aligned with available daylight for solar generation. Solar alone cannot meet full demand, especially as student numbers rise or on cloudy days, so the hub still relies on costly external power.

Demand and physical space are not the barriers — operating capacity is. The premises could accommodate about 200 students once fully equipped; today power, internet, heat, sun exposure, and facility conditions limit the hub to 50–60 at a time. Every resolved constraint increases the number of students served and the stability of study hours.

Before funding: scope, quotation, and agreed budget. During delivery: invoices, purchase records, and progress photos. After completion: beneficiary, expense, and impact summary. Invoices, supplier quotations, and detailed records are available on request.
